Welcome to the best game you never played!
Countless paragraphs could be written about how this game is so different than any other you have played. Plenty of them are available here so I won't waste your time.
You have been directed to this page because you are a brand new player and we want to help you get started the right way!
First things first
We need you to read some background stuff about what this game is about, who we are, and what our rules are.
To use an analogy: "Would you pay for a $10,000 hunting trip for rixwabbits without knowing who you are going with, what the regulations are, knowledge of the habitat, what they look like and finally what weapon to use?" Of course not.
So before we can teach you what weapons to use and what your target is we need for you to do some reading. Yep, boring but necessary. By knowing what our community is about, who runs it, the players, etc. you will be miles ahead of the average newbie who downloads the game and tries to log in. You may see that kind of newb in-game insulting the Admins, commanders and asking the most basic of questions. A little bit of reading would have saved them some heartache and embarrassment in-game.
So in order to participate in the Allegiance Flight School (AFS) we strongly suggest you follow the links below to get some background first. Actually it's not a suggestion, it's a requirement for joining AFS - otherwise you will be helplessly lost in our private forums where we will be training.
- How do I start to play? (Installation guide)
- Technical support starting point is here
Optional: Where can you go for different training material? - Use the F1 key in game to view AEM's in-game help section.
- Review the list of common mistakes that rookies make.
- Check Allegwiki's training index for a full list.
Join the Allegiance Flight School
Read all of those? Good! You now have two choices:
- Sign up to be a member of the Allegiance Flight School.
- The AFS program will give you access to a private forum and instructors to help you with the available training material and your questions. It will also provide you with the opportunity to meet and train with other people who are not yet experienced in this game. Why would you want to take the course? Simple, you will have detailed and quick answers to any of your questions. Completing AFS is also a requirement for taking the advanced course, Cadet II.

- You will be on your own.
Note Throughout this course you will come across links to other Allegwiki pages. Unless specified otherwise, they are not part of the AFS course material and can be skipped if you wish.
