The Dreghklar Empire - the beast of the Apocalypse. This race may responsible for the destruction of Earth, after tampering with the already poor coordination of the Mass Conveyor System, believing that humanity was lost without its home. For hundreds of years, they have traveled and been a plague to intelligent life.

The Dreghklar Empire is the first faction that was made entirely by an Allegiance player, Vegeta, who made all the ship models and textures in addition to developing the factions settings. Their ships are oriented toward raw power, similar to the Iron Coalition's. They are the second alien contact that humanity had.

This race of reptiles use technologies in a similar way as regular factions. There are no exceptions, like the Rixian Unity's absence of missiles, or the Belter's special capacity to mount more weapons. In fact, they use equipment that is strangely similar to that of humanity's. However their ships are far superior to anything humanity has produced, with higher top speeds, excellent agility, tightly grouped gunmounts and improved missiles.

Like the Iron Coalition, the Dreghklar Empire starts games with strong and agile light interceptors, allowing them to start the game with aggressive ships and great chances of defending themselves early in the game.

Like the Rixians, the Dreghklar are scientifically superior to humans. However, they are not as advanced as the Rixians and so their research time is one minute. Still twice as fast as humans, but five times slower than the Rixians. Unlike the Rixians though, Dreghklar scientists have not perfected their procedures and so their research is more costly. Coupled with an average economy this causes them to take some time to unlock their technologies. To offset this they have developed a special type of refinery, known as the He3 refinery, which builds directly on a He3 asteroid and collects He3 constantly. However, the technology is costly, and takes even longer than Gigacorp's special refineries to pay off the capital cost.

Standard ship hull is 90%.

Note that dreg's stations scan ranges have been tweaked so that their nerfed scan range equals other factions normal scan range. In other words, dreg's sensor nerf only affects their ships.

Note that ship signature is divided by this number, so a higher number is better.

Faction unique traits

  • He3 refinery available, which produces $750 per minute once built.

Ideal settings

  • Dreg's tech is fairly expensive, and with their 1 min research time, the higher the money for them, the better.

Faction strategies

  • Expansion - Despite having lower hull and larger hitboxes Dreg Int's are comparable to other factions Ints due to their incredible speed. They may not be the best dogfighting tools, but they can get from one point to another very quickly, which can make the difference sometimes. The reason Dreg EXP is played so commonly these days is due to it's HTT's, the lower Sig and incredible speed makes their HTT's a very powerful tool.
  • Supremacy - Dreg's missile track and Dmg perks really help their Sup. A scout loaded with Gatt2 and DF2 can most of the time solo even defended miners. Dreg's high speed makes the Galving runs very powerful. As end tech, as long as it's not against Mini3 Heavy Ints, can simply be bombing with AC3 and XRM/AB's, fast bombers make this factions Sup quite powerful.
  • Tactical - Due to the high missile track/damage even Hunter 2 can be a useful defensive tool. The missile Dmg will make your speedy SB's almost not require AB2. A very cheesy path.
