The majority of ships in Allegiance cost credits to purchase. Once you have the credits (by default the commander has all the money) then you may fly the ship as many times as you like, until either it is destroyed or you give the credits away. As shown in the screenshot below, the cost is listed both next to the ship name in the drop-down list and underneath the "Buy ship" button.

Rather easy. Ships that cost money have their purchase price listed next to their name in the ship list. Since you've donated all your money to your commander you need request money from him to purchase it. That's what the Buy Ship button is for.

  1. Pressing the Buy Ship button sends a request to your commander SoAndSo has requested $500 to purchase a Bomber; Press Insert to approve. It is then their decision whether or not to give you the money.
    • Note that the "Buy Ship" button will only work if it is red, indicating that your Commander (or someone else on the team) has enough money for the purchase.
    • If no one on your team has enough credits the button will be greyed out.
  2. When the Commander approves your request you will hear Affirmative and your credits will go up.
  3. You now need to hit Buy Ship again, which will spend your new found credits and grant you the ship.
    • Please note that players cannot board your ship as gunners until you have completed this step.
  4. If you lose the ship the money is lost. If you fly a different ship, or bring this ship back to base, the credits will remain in your account for you to reuse.

Note Please be aware that bombers, troop transports, and other ships tie up considerable monetary and manpower resources for your team. For this reason, commanders usually reserve these ships for players who are not brand new. Don't take offence if you're not given these ships until you've learned the game first!
