Counter		Countermeasures	Abbreviation: CM Used by small and medium class ships to spoof enemy missiles. Upgrades improve chance to spoof.
Heavy counter		Countermeasures	Used by capital ships to spoof enemy missiles. Upgrades improve chance to spoof.
Sig cloak		Cloak	Abbreviation: sig, cloak, clk Used by stealth fighters and stealth bombers to mask their signature. Upgrades improve amount of masking and energy consumption. Sig Cloak 1 drops signature 60% for 60 secs, Sig Cloak 2 drops signature 70% for 80 secs, Sig Cloak 3 drops signature 87.5% for 120 secs.
Heavy cloak		Cloak	Abbreviation: hvy clk, HC As for a sig cloak, but with very high masking and very high energy consumption. Hvy Cloak 1 drops signature 90% for 20 secs, Hvy Cloak 2 drops signature 90% for 24 secs.
Light cloak		Cloak	Ga'Taraan Federation only. Low sig masking but low energy consumption. Lt Cloak drops signature 50% for 160 secs.
Solar inverter		Cloak	Ga'Taraan Federation only. Works opposite to a sig cloak, raises signature and recharges energy.
Small shield		Shield	Abbreviation: SS Mounted on small class ships. Absorbs small amount of damage. Upgrades improve hitpoints and recharge rate.
Medium shield		Shield	Abbreviation: MS Mounted on medium class ships. Absorbs moderate amount of damage. Upgrades improve hitpoints and recharge rate.
Large shield		Shield	Abbreviation: LS Mounted on capital class ships. Absorbs large amount of damage. Upgrades improve hitpoints and recharge rate.
