Are characterised as 'Missiles'.

This faction is only available on Edge of Reality servers.

Are characterized as 'Super tech'.

They have strong shields, non-repairable hulls, and lots of unique technology.

This faction is only available on Dark Nebulae servers.

Faction X ships have more guns than usual, and have much heavier hulls in place of shields.

This faction have turrets on everything, and fewer pilot-controlled guns.

They have slow speeds but incredibly fast boosters, very weak shields, and moderate hulls.
