German Borg, a name that is only a tradition (now that they're an international squad), were founded by Taudin and HF_Phoenix in the first quarter of 2000. They had the goal to give German players a chance to play together in the Allegiance Community, dominated by Americans. The German Borg were an AZ squad until the problems started (see History). Most of the players didn't want to pay for the AZ anymore due to all of the problems, and instead played on FZ. Many people left the squad and Dex_Solo became the new Squad Leader.
