Zone Game 8 (a special seasonal game) was held on 29th December 2007.
Factions: Iron Coalition
Because of the short notice of the game and the fact that many people were busy IRL preparing for the holidays, only a short report was released from the DataNet about an Iron Coalition combat simulation that was taking place on a special seaonally themed map, which had messages such as "Happy New Year" spelled out with asteroids and in the minimap it could be seen that the map appeared to be a Christmas Tree with two stars.

RECIPIENTS: ALL PILOTS SUBJECT: "Combat Simulation Session"
Any pilot not assigned to patrol, combat, or live fire exercises is invited to join an Iron Coalition computer-simulation training activity conducted in the Iron Coalition simulation centers. All interested pilots will report on 12/29 to the simulation section of the training center at Lunar HQ. Commanders for the event have been selected and will be notified beforehand. Thanks to the on-going research of our scientists, we will have all of the currently known space-faring factions available for you to pilot. The choice of faction will be reserved for the commander.
