Factions: Ga'Taraan Federation vs Technoflux

After the Technoflux have rebelled and escaped the clutched of the Iron Coalition, they proceed into neutral territory and eventually into Ga'Taraan space and engage them in battle.

The new faction that we have come to know as Technoflux seems to have headed into neutral territory, however our long range sensor have detected their forces moving towards Ga'Taraan territory, perhaps to establish a base of their own, we have no idea about their long term goals, however, we can take hope in the fact that the Ga'Taraan have also defeated the Coalition a fair number of times, perhaps they can use the same tactics to successfully hold off what is rapidly becoming a Technoflux armada.

The Iron Coalition, still recovering from its losses in its previous engagement, released a statement from our well known friend Captain Johnson, regarding the "Technoflux Incident" that occurred a few days ago.

"Greetings friends, foes, and those who are neither. As you probably have noticed by now, we encountered a slight hitch in one of out secret projects in the development of AI.

Using the advanced Dreghklar technology, we were able to make great strides in developing the Technoflux, they had even helped us win some minor skirmishes against pirates and raiders, however, when it became clear that the AI were showing signs of rampancy, far earlier than we had anticipated, before we knew it, a sizable portion of the fleet that we had developed managed to escape our facility and defeat the security forces, who were caught off guard, not expecting to be attacked from the rear.

However, due to the Technoflux's recent maneuvres, it seems that we stand to profit from the next few weeks. Our two rogue factions seem to be about to violently collide with each other, a chance for the Coalition to regain lost territory and regain our former dominance over this solar system."

Well he didn't sound too happy, but it seems that the IC has just about broken even from these recent engagements, luckily for them, the Technoflux forces have decided not to go for round 2. We can only wait to see the outcome of the inevitable battle that has to come between the Ga'Taraan forces and the Technoflux.

Much to the relief of many residents of this solar system, the Ga'Taraan Federation has successfully defeated the Technoflux armada, at least we now know that they can be defeated, quelling some of the fear that had been rising, following the annihilation of the Iron Coalition security forces. However this defeat leaves the Technoflux in an awkward position, having sustained losses without a base to repair its fleet, it is now in the middle of nowhere with no support, they will need to establish a base fairly quickly, or risk being wiped out altogether.

However, the Ga'Taraan have gained a fair amount of salvage from the Technoflux ruins and are beginning to process them in their labs, the Coalition has threatened to raid the Ga'Taraan facility in order to protect its secrets, but the rest of the solar system already knows that it's too little too late.
