'To-do' list

Some stuff I intend to get done - Juckto 14:52, 23 December 2007 (CST)

FAZ

I was working through writing stuff up for the various releases, when I remembered that at some stage Autobalance was introduced, but I had forgotten the exact details. It was either FAZ R2 or FAZ R3? So I've put that on hold until I find out when/what happened (it doesn't seem to be covered in the change logs).

Also, the actual FAZ page needs a bit of work. Looks like someone copy-pasted it, and it's talking in the present tense and kinda not relevant.

Development

This page is a mess. It's full of placeholders, and not well organised at all. It should be one of our best pages, IMO.

History

  • I'd like to see this get a bit of spruce up. Namely, dates. If the history could be broken down into years, that'd be great. And please, please, don't talk about things in terms of "Fall" and "Summer". Those terms only apply to one hemisphere (in fact, "Fall" only applies to one small part of one hemisphere - the rest of us can spell "Autumn").
  • It also needs a good wikifying with links.
  • The end of it needs a good write up. Compared to the rest it's a wet rag at the moment. I believe that Black Friday should get a write up, as it was a bit of a catalyst for many of the admin/enforcement changes made.

Stubs

Stubs need to get done. That's kind of a biggie.

Allegiance on a LAN

It would be nice if there was something about how to set up and run a LAN.

Useful Links

Stubs

These are articles that people have started but need help finishing.

  • This is a good place to start :)
  • If you want to put something you started into stubs, insert {{Stub}} into your article.

Wanted Pages

These are links that people have created, but the article they link to is completely blank.

Dead end pages

These are wiki pages which contain zero links to other parts of the wiki. It is desired that someone goes through them and looks for keywords to link them to other articles. However this requires you have some familiarity with the wiki itself, so you know what there is that can be linked to.

Lonely Pages

These are wiki pages that have nothing linking to them. Fixing this is similar to the Deadend pages but more time-consuming, since you need to work from the bottom up.

Short pages

This is a bit of a pot-luck draw. You might encounter an article that someone has barely begun, but forgotten to Stub, or you might just find short articles.

Random

The ultimate pot-luck draw.
