Welcome to the best game you never played!
Countless paragraphs could be written about how this game is so different than any other you have played. Plenty of them are available here so I won't waste your time.
You have been directed to this page because you are a brand new player and we want to help you get started the right way!
To use an analogy: "Would you pay for a $10,000 hunting trip for rixwabbits without know who you are going with, what the regulations are, what knowledge of the habitat, what they look like and finally what weapon to use?" Of course not.
So before we can teach you what weapons to use and what your target is we need for you to do some reading. Yep, boring but necessary. By knowing what our community is about, who runs it, the players, etc. You will be miles ahead of the average Newbie who downloads the game and tries to Login. You can see them in game insulting the Admins, commanders and asking the most basic questions that a little bit of reading would have saved them some heartache and embarrassment in game.
First things first
So in order to participate in Cadet I or just to read the lesson material we strongly suggest you follow the links below to get some background first. Actually it's not a suggestion, it's a requirement for joining Cadet: you will be helplessly lost in our private forums where we will be training you otherwise.
- What is Allegiance?
- What is the Free Allegiance Organization?
- FAQ on rules enforcement
- How do I start to play? (Installation guide)
- Technical support starting point is here
- What are the most common mistakes made by a new player?
- Where can you go for more material?
- Use the F1 key in game to view AEM's in-game help section, or check the wiki's Training Programs and Resources page.
Join Cadet I
Completed all of those? Good! You now have two choices:
- Sign up for the Cadet I program.
- The Cadet I program will have a private forum and instructors to help you with the material and your questions. Why would you want to take the course? Simple, you will not be able to take the advanced course, Cadet II, without completing it. Nor have almost instant answers to your questions.
- Proceed with the reading at your own pace.
- You will be on your own.
