Factions are the different 'races' that can be played in Allegiance. Each faction has it's unique strength and weaknesses and is played in a different manner.

Belters

Are characterised as a 'Junkyard Armada'.

They can steal technology easily, have no small ship sheilds, and almost all ships can carry a nan.

They have a long research time, superior technology, and all ships can carry a Heavy Cloaking device.

Are characterised as 'Scientists gone to War'.

They have unique ships and weaponary.
