Yeah, I can second the auto-update works even when lobby doesn't opinion. I got the error on DN servers first time i tried the alpha, but I just ran regular allegiance and got the updates even though I never could play with it.

I was hoping there would be someone playing, but nobody seems to be ...

Would it be possible to arrange some kind of testing this weekend? Is the server code working ok with the new clients? I just haven't seen any servers on the test lobby yet so I guess we'd need to coordinate a bit to get something going on. Assuming that the software is ready for this. Any ideas?

Well I really can't and won't stack, but I think it lacks the option "to win"/"to play on the winning team". Because even if someone wouldn't care about elo, people just love having the advantage and better chance of winning. Ofcourse it would be cool if the advantage is achieved by better team work ...

Well, there was no servers before the lobby dropped so I'd assume the server doesn't automatically list itself when the lobby is up.

Well. After sitting in the lobby since my last post something weird happened. Maybe the lobby just died, but I got something like "dplay session was terminated". After this error I couldn't reconnect to the lobby. The weird part is that I didn't get any kind of error message even after waiting for ...

Finally I can connect at my flat! The network here doesn't allow new inbound connections.
Too bad there doesn't seem to be any servers or players around.
