So what about those IPs though? Do we have a list of IPs for alleg servers/lobby I can try and add to trust list or something?

And can't the stateful packet inspection thing be fixed easy enough? If it's just a matter of needing allegiance client to make a new lobby connection each time instead of ...

Any of these IPs sound familiar? This is from my router log around the time I started up alleg this morning and had the problem once again.

That happens once in a while to me too, but not often. Usually just a matter of waiting a minute (or a few) and trying again. When I see it happening it's usually when my cable connection is acting up with lost packets. (stupid damn cable company/employees... every damn time we go through the same ...

QUOTE (Grimmwolf_GB @ Feb 22 2008, 11:46 AM) Danzilla, the improvements are there, but I guess your router does not get upgraded by the devs...

(As you did not post any details regarding your connection, I assume you are behind a router and its firmware causes the problems)
I haven't changed my ...

Is there something wrong here or what? I've seen more 'failed to reconnect to the lobby' when leaving a game and trying to go back to the lobby in last few days than in as many previous months (or years?). Sometimes it lets me back in on 2nd try and sometimes I have to wait 5-10minutes (or just give ...

Okay. Got it to run again, but still messed up. I tried ASGS with windowed mode, and that allowed allegiance to run. I immediately noticed FPS was (still) messed up, running around 20fps. I looked around at other settings to mess with and what do I find, but it's running with software rendering for ...

So, only 'fix' for now is using old drivers?? I too just upped my system in December and was using 163.75 drivers. I was having weird issues with the game becoming unplayable. Wasn't just video though. In addition to screen blurring and moving really weridly (it didn't move like low FPS though, more ...

You do the basics, like making sure you have the MS VC++ libraries installed? That's still required isn't it? Check the pinned posts to see mention of it and other possible problems.

I don't get it. I changed the settings at least a half dozen times, exited allegiance different way, even rebooted my system to try again, and it just kept going back to chat filters on, even when the other settings were successfully changed.
Now, with no other changes made, they seem to be staying ...
