Game filter options stuck on
Hey. A couple days ago I noticed I wasn't seeing ALL chat. A little messing around and I realized one of the filters was turned on some how. I tried each of the filters in turn to make sure they're all they way I want them and quit. Now all my filters are stuck on. I change them (off), quit and come back and they're on again. I change them (off) again and play a while and then quit from asgs, and still they're back on when I start again. WTF going on? Any clues? I haven't changed anything recently on my system, let alone to allegiance/asgs setup, so why can't allegiance remember the filter setting ffs.
I also tried changing a couple other settings (censor/don't censor display, particles on/off) and their changes were remembered correctly. There may be other settings that are stuck, but I really don't want to try them all. It's just the 3 filter options that I know of that are stuck on. HELP.

I don't get it. I changed the settings at least a half dozen times, exited allegiance different way, even rebooted my system to try again, and it just kept going back to chat filters on, even when the other settings were successfully changed.
Now, with no other changes made, they seem to be staying off again. I don't understand it. Starting to get paranoid... ghosts in the maching my ass, it's the terrorists! Sic 'em Bush! (or whomever's easiest)

Well, the option is set in the registry. To change it, do the following:
Start -> Run. "REGEDIT" without the quotes and press Enter.
Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\1.0
Change the key FilterLobbyChats to 0 and you're done. Make sure you don't touch anything else in there or you'll have a dead Windows on your hands.
