Can anyone tell me whats going on?

I've just reformatted my machine, Windows XP and i am using an ENGLISH VERSION.

NVIDA Graphics card, although that hasn't stopped me before.

I haven't had issues with Allegiance untill a few days ago, it lagged uncontrollably.

Now it refuses to launch.

Can anyone provide me with some help?

Thank you,

You do the basics, like making sure you have the MS VC++ libraries installed? That's still required isn't it? Check the pinned posts to see mention of it and other possible problems.

If not VC libraries, maybe one of the other pinned posts? Like the one about nVidia card problems??

Just to make sure: you DO have DirectX 9.0c or above?

Make sure you have ALL updates and make sure that ALL of your hardware drivers are installed. Alleg wouldn't run for me when I had to re-install because the sound drivers were not installed.

I'm sure it is, and when installing i installed the runtime version.

Also downloaded the MS expansion for C++ English just to make sure.

Can't be NVIDIA. I haven't had an issue with that AND Alleg before.

Could be that, I'll check back to let you know after i get it.

My sound drivers aren't installed .. they should come through MS Auto-Update. Normally does.

As for the rest of my drivers, they're all here.

I'll try DirectX V.9.0 ..

And let you know,

Thanks,

Allegiance will not work without your sound drivers. Go find them and install them
