Got windows firewall turned off. And have all 3 of alleg's main files set as allowed.
My modem firewall is turned off.
What kind of ports should i have opened for the auto updater..

Can you supply a tracert? It will report, hop-by-hop, where the problem is. We may not be able to solve it, but we can at least isolate it.

start -> run -> 'cmd' -> 'tracert <ip address>'

e.g. tracert 204.14.16 ...

I can not connect to lobby either.
I checke d my Windows Xp firewall and it's clicked off, but when i select security center under controll pannel it says its on.

I also turned off Norton Anti Virus.

Im using wireless internet on a public server.

Windows Xp Home eidtion.

Anyone please tell me ...

this is the error i get

It stops updating and gives me this message..

Any ideas..
