Week Three End
Congratulations you've completed Cadet I! All that's left is the appendix which has the Cadet II signup, some useful links, and the feedback section.
This week we covered:
- How to defend against enemy bomb runs.
- How to support friendly bomb runs.
- The basics of figs and ints and the various weapons.
- Why probing is important throughout the game.
- How to deprobe.
With all the knowledge you've gained you should be able to join a team and be immediately useful, whether it be scouting the enemy sectors, defending miners/cons or escorting bomb runs. Yes, these are all support roles and not very "glorious" but they are essential. More importantly you are still a very new player and you can't expect to take point and be the hero quite yet. Continue to play and continue to observe the good players - and don't forget to sign up for Cadet II!
