Allegiance has very low requirements generally (non-powerful computer, windows, and an internet connection), although due to improvements made by the development team they are slightly higher than the original specs from the 2000 release.
Note that players have created high resolution textures you can use if you wish. See here for details.
Current System Requirements for FreeAllegiance
- Multimedia PC with a Pentium 200 MHz or higher, 3D card recommended.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4), Windows XP (SP1) or Vista (any version).
- (Sorry, but Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE and WindowsME will not work!)
- 32MB of RAM required, 64 MB recommended.
- DirectX 9.0c December 2006 Runtimes or later.
- Internet Explorer 5.5 (with installed High Encryption Pack) or higher
- Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, SP1 for .Net 1.1 and the hotfix for .Net 1.1
- .NET 2.0 and 3.0 do not include 1.1 runtimes, so the 1.1 family is required.
