This is a list that describes the many training programs and resources available. If you are looking for a guide to start learning using the resources described below, visit Learning Guide.

Group Training

The community offers two distinct training programs for players to participate in.

Cadet

The Cadet Program (or @cadet as it's commonly known), where its members are identified by the tag @CDT. In the Cadet program, new players are taught the game, but old players needing a refreshing course can also participate. Graduation is often followed by squad recruitment.

Cadet is undergoing a major revamping. Cadet I will be publicly online in Oct. 2007. It will be an in depth manual and training guide for the brand new player. It will utilize resources from here and it's own new material.

Cadet II will replace the current sessions of @Cadet. It will be a more advanced course designed to take an intermediate player to an advanced level. The concept of this course will be two fold. First to prepare a player for the intensity of squad play. The second as a prep for the ACS school.

Allegiance Command School

This nine week course is aimed at experienced pilots who want to learn more about commanding. It is currently being overseen by Clay_Pigeon, with instruction provided by several experienced Allegiance commanders. After a multi-month sabbatical and a complete rewrite, the program has resumed instruction.

Leave room for descriptions of @Cadet, F1, ACS, Training Missions, Newbie Servers, AllegAcademy etc here. Most of this should be covered in depth at the Training Zone section. Keep descriptions brief and link to a section of the Training Zone for more info.

The main point I, AEM, want to make here is just to show players just how much stuff is out there to help them learn.
