Alright, this is enough. We need to get back to our senses and help players where we are best capable of helping players, teamspeak. Quick troubleshooting
Start directing new players to teamspeak, let's get the veterans who play the game on there and let's just hammer out the issues that they are having. None of this consult the forums, just give answers.
This is _THE_ number one way to retain newbies. I remember back when Teamspeak was active every night the newbie retention rate for people who got onto teamspeak and actually talked with the veterans who play the game was astoundingly high, I'd estimate it at 50%. Let's take this good thing and get it working again.
