Problem Encountered at Step #: (read the "What Should Happen" for this step#) #8 You click the big wide "Current Games Listing" button below the MOTD.
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): ASGS
What Error Message: ASGS Authentication Falure. Restart using ASGS
Comments (What you tried, description, etc): Deleted Filelist.txt and tried again. turned on xp windows firewall and unblocked allegiance no luck downloaded sp 1 for netframe. no luck. turned off firewall no luck manually updated ASGS no luck reinstalled allegiance from scratch no luck
Any more suggestions. I have not played for several years because Windows 98 was not supported and the current versions did not work with it. Now I have upgraded on a newer computer with an xp operating system and cant play?

ASGS Authentication Failure.
Make sure you have the latest installer from the downloads section (it was updated in the last couple of weeks).
After you start ASGS go to Help and then Repair/Update critical files.
For now, make sure you install Allegiance on the C: drive. This is a known limitation that hopefully will be resolved in the near future.

You mean the ASGS download? ASGS Client and Updater
