Alright. Step by step. You're running windows XP? Click on start, then "run".

Type in cmd and press enter. A black command prompt should show up.

Type in ipconfig and press enter. Some stuff should show up, including your computer's local ip address... and the default gateway, which is the ip to your router. Write those two down.

Launch a browser window. Type in the default gateway ip address. This should bring up the router config page, right? Could you post a screenshot of the command prompt, and the router config page where you forwarded the ports? Also, could you post a screenshot of the status page of the router?

Sorry - I didn't see an answer to my question: "Does it start with 192.168?"

I'm assuming that your "Stupid modem" generic complaint was an implied answer to my question... and that your modem's IP address does start with 192.168,

If that's true, then try to type *THAT* IP address into your browser and post the screenshots that GreyVulpine asks for.
