Personally I would prefer that no one get's mod previewed (except for inappropriate content).

I'm just trying to understand who or what you're referring to with your comment, Paps, because to my eyes there's an un-altered post in this very thread by Zwitter that would have been dealt with harshly eight years ago but still stands. And while the very premise of this thread is, to me, silly, your reaction to it appeared to be exactly the kind of "politically correct" wishy-washy whining that you think is a product of the current generation. And that doesn't even begin to discuss the actual RoC 1 and 2 violations that got Zwitter previewed.
Define inappropriate content. Are you suggesting we remove RoC 2 because this "new generation" which has taken over introduced this rule? When, exactly, did this generation become a pile of politically correct "pussies"?
And since when does calling someone out for being a douchebag or an @#$%@# make them weak or unworthy?
I don't see anyone here who can't handle arguments getting a little heated. Wasp and I had it out in the Climate Change thread and at no point did I even consider reporting a post of his, because if things get heated in a thread that's not harrassment. Now if he had taken to posting in six or seven different forums about what a @#(!lord moron I am for believing in anthropogenic climate change and responding to every single post I make about how I'm too much of a dumbass that believes in anthropogenic climate change to ever be taken seriously, I'd probably end up reporting him because *that* would be harrassment. Not a minor shouting match in one thread. And as much as I think he was being bull-headed and is factually wrong, I still enjoy flying with him, I still enjoy seeing him in game, and I still feel camaraderie with him as ex-members of PK (though he sure as hell may not feel the same way).
(P.S. Wasp, when I call you "butt man" it's not because I think you're an @#$%@#, it's cuz of your in-game name. I assume you knew that, but meh, wires have been crossed before.)
So I guess as a 20-something-year-old, the exact kind of "politically correct pussy" you have a problem with, let me elucidate:
When someone was mod-previewed for posting actual porn and engaging in an actual campaign of harassment across several forums, I didn't see that as a vicious attack on the rules or or on my political beliefs. You did. When someone was being as toxic to this community as Masta Metz on a bad day, I didn't start complaining that all the mods were out to get people of my political stripes. You did.
And if that hurts your feelings, I'm honestly sorry. I respect you deeply and I don't want to make it appear that I have anything but gratitude and admiration for the way you have served this community and the cool guy you've been in game and on the forums for the past ten years... but as a millennial I am sick and goddamn tired of people over 40 claiming that my generation is "weak." It's not weak to stand up for the marginalized. It's not weak to ask someone to stop being a *#$@, even if they're being a *#$@ unintentionally, even if the way they were being a *#$@ was socially acceptable ten, twenty, thirty, or a hundred years ago. And it's not weak to demand deserved respect.
What is weak is hiding behind "kids are pussies" as a shield from being called out.
