I know y'all are still working on marketing and licensing. The marketing stuff is even working somewhat, as evidenced by the fact that I'm here typing this.
I was wondering if anybody is working on Pigs, though.
From what I've read in the source, they could be programmed to keep a basic game going, but drop out as real players join. This way, new players would always be able to get into a game when they signed on.
I started working on them myself a bit about a year ago - got stopped by a combination of a compile error due to some library weirdness, work overload, and my lack of skill as a developer.
Is there anybody with more skill that could get this going? I'd be happy to help if there is.
Anybody working on Pigs?

QUOTE ^cashto@Elem (all): yeah, i imagine if you're rusty, you could build op short for no reason, build a naked ref, then go two techpaths even though your mining is by all objective standards $#@!ed[/quote]

Here's a good starting point: https://github.com/AllegianceZone/Alleg ... gs/PigletsWasp wrote:QUOTE (Wasp @ Jul 6 2015, 12:21 PM) Talk to Imago.
He got pigs up and running and was able to create a perpetual pigs DM of 10 vs 10 I believe. I was working on a DM GODBOT but then got distracted.
Look up imago's allegiancezone on github for the code changes.
I made a couple commits a while back but hey Imago's JavaScript programming is like his C++ programming (not a good thing)
you are a douche. i've spent quite a bit of time on them and am willing to continue - testing is so much fun...Blacksun94 wrote:QUOTE (Blacksun94 @ Jul 4 2015, 04:42 PM) Nobody is working on them.

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye
Imago's stupid-sensor is supersensitive. --RealPandemonium
The art is managing the flow of the drama to achieve the desired results. --Big_Beta_Tester

You know, i admire your coding skills, and I have already acknowledged that.
But why are you wasting them in a non existant community?
I even offered to pay you and you gave me a "this is already done"

Code is code, it's all there on github. There is nothing stopping you from using it.Blacksun94 wrote:QUOTE (Blacksun94 @ Jul 7 2015, 11:33 AM) I meant in our community.

I do not have the skills to implement it.
