Correct.

And no, even rotating the view does not change the door orientation. (to my knowledge: i've commed like twice, and once was a DM PT bbr practice where I only built a palisade and research station...)

Are there any chat filters to see only specific (order) messages?
Sometimes I wanna know where our cons are heading (last day I lost one because I didn't notice it), but if I'm on command wing and not notice the actual order, sometimes I can't find it even while scrolling (maybe just skip it accidentally). Is there a way to quickly see where the constructor is heading if I'm in another sector flying?
Some games have adjustable/customizable chat boxes, those would be great in Allegiance.

How to pick targets in a massive dm/base camp?

Which direction teleporter receivers points you after ripcord (in F3 view, comparing to other bases)? Same question about carriers, tho I will find it out when I make a practice game today.

Can I find the miner's hull/shield strength using the techtree explorer? Just wanna know the exact bonus that Enh/Adv miners/cons gives, besides the bonus of 2500-10000 money spent.

Is it possible to use custom sounds? When I am commanding the sound for payday or hopefully a full miner is often misheard as there are tons of things going and usually a lot of voice comms heard too: I'm new and I'm clueless (by me), or We have a clueless commander, mutiny! (by others). Custom sounds like "miner docked" would attract my attention quicker.

Anyone of you plays Allegiance on HD (16:9/16:10)? How menu's and other things look?

UI mods increase the amount of chat lines which should help with being able to keep track of drone orders when on command wing.
I don't think you can filter your chat to only display orders.

Target prioritization is the main part of effective whoring. It's incredibly situational and will depend greatly on what your team is currently doing, what your own abilities are, and what your potential targets abilities are.
For example I won't generally prioritize killing babelfish in most situations because I know he's going to boost away and just waste my time. You have to be quick to change targets when you know someone is just going to draw fire while they boost away. A lot of times I go for the target that I know will be easiest to kill so I can raise my KB before engaging something more difficult. But other times you'll want to go after what you know is the biggest threat. It really depends on the situation.

Bases with 2 red doors will alternate where is launches people (the first person to launch will launch on one side, and the next person to launch will launch from the other side) this is important to know if you're trying to launch a bomber from the appropriate door, or for camping a base.
Not sure about teleports.

I imagine you can find miner hull/shield strength using ICE. (just did)

You can modify many files as long as they are not protected by ASGS (some files are protected to prevent cheating)

I play widescreen "hd" Alleg and it doesn't look out of the ordinary

Sundance_ wrote:QUOTE (Sundance_ @ Apr 14 2012, 08:52 PM) RoyBrown@NI has been working on this guide for quite a while. It shows the orientation of many bases from the general, unrotated command view.
I already noticed some orientations messed, tho I think it was usually 180 degrees. Some teleporters have also unique exits: Rix is only one-way and Technoflux is pointing upwards, other factions has teleport receivers which you exit 4 different ways and the order is clockwise. I'm not sure how to draw those arrows in wiki, but I could still try to help to confirm the orientations. As there is no real direction in F3 view, players should be advised to align the view by their hopefully not lost garrison. It is also to have your F3 view aligned properly, if you want to camp enemy base with a HTT.

---
There is a weapon for stealth bombers called Nervous gas or something. It captures a station without it's shields. HTT's can carry an EMP missile that destroys that shield. Why I haven't seen anyone using this or similar combo to capture a station from distance? Is it a too expensive tech?

Miner health/shields

Small Constructor health/shields
Large Con health/shields (same table, bold text)

Then, click on the specific faction to get hull/shield modifiers.

The wiki is your friend... ;)
