Im my spare time I've been creating some maps for allegiance. People spoke of a map previously that had an aleph which had an extra low signature which took your straight to the enemy home. Well i've created a map and made a little adaptation to that idea.
Instead of the map having an extra low sig aleph to the enemy home it has it to one of the centres of the map. If you secure the sector which contains the aleph leading to the enemy home, you can set about sending out scouts to find there home aleph thus doing an uneyed bomb run.
I also made it so the map had potentially four choke points. The choke points although may seem a bit excessive will be hard to defend due to the amount of ways into the points.
Here is another map Ive created. I got the idea from limited diamond which I think is a great map. I've adapted that map and came up with this.
Diamond Mine
Both teams start off with a garrison, 1 He3 Spec mine and a teleport in there adjacent sector to there home.
I wanted to beef up each teams econ a little bit but not too much. Im still not sure of the spec mine.
Anyone else created any maps they would like to share.

e-mail them to me and I'll put them up. I just paid for another 2 years of hosting costs and have about 400+ GB of free space on my web serverrojomojo915 wrote:QUOTE (rojomojo915 @ Jan 4 2007, 02:29 AM) If someone can host my maps, ill be gald to post em.
If you could, it'd be nice to have some copy written up about the maps and thumbnail pictures of each.
Thanks.

or even worse, a line goes behind a sector, e.g.
0--0--0
now, do those outer sectors both have one link to the middle one, or are they a triangle with a link between the 2 outer sectors that that goes behind the middle one, or is the middle one not connected to anything and there is only 1 link that links the 2 outer sectors
that diagram could be used for 3 different maps, having 1, 2 or 3 links
Mesial catch my on irc or something and I'll show you, it's not overly hard technically, most of the issue is making a decent map. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
