A friend was attacked by street punks in his home 2 months back, the guys stabbed hiim in the gut, nicked the artery near the spine and left him to bleed out. They locked the front door so he could not crawl out and get help.

It would be more "God drunk with my idiot friends. Then we started fighting and I got stabbed"MrChaos wrote:QUOTE (MrChaos @ Jun 5 2011, 09:48 PM) Finland![]()
That's apparently the finnish way.
QUOTE Nambia was mentioned in another thread[/quote]
That's a rough place I bet.

Namibia.
One of the highest murder rates in the world, after South Africa. And one of the lowest population densities in the world. Maybe we just don't like too many people?
Everyone here has been touched by crime in one way or another, white or black. 50% unemployment do not help either. Even so I have had more than my share. My own countrymen look at me funny when I tell them what went down at one stage or another.
But, as I said, there are many times when it was another perfect African sunset, followed by the perfect Beer, and a good steak on the coals. The local hardwood lends a barbecue a delicious flavour.

Back on topic. Spoke to a friend with specialist experience.
His Verdict: Kill at 600m is doable with sniper training or great natural aptitude, and yes, the M16 is a can do. The terrain play a large part, as does wind.
The dual wielding: He mentions that Special Forces get great latitude in what they train with and on. If you are so inclined and willing to put in the practise. Go ahead..
Most likely government trained, at least pre 9/11 terrorists did not get that level of training necessary to hold a position against elite troops.
Which does lead to the guess this was an object lesson in retaliation.
