1 person to change the lightbulb, 30 people to stand around waiting for that person to volunteer, and 5 especially strong men who will immediately rush outside to try to rotate the house in the opposite direction.MrChaos wrote:QUOTE (MrChaos @ May 17 2011, 06:17 AM) How many Allegiance players does it take to screw in a light bulb?

You forgot the couple of dozen who will continually second-guess and berate the person changing the bulb.Clay_Pigeon wrote:QUOTE (Clay_Pigeon @ May 17 2011, 08:23 AM) 1 person to change the lightbulb, 30 people to stand around waiting for that person to volunteer, and 5 especially strong men who will immediately rush outside to try to rotate the house in the opposite direction.

And it takes that one light bulb person to start a fight with everyone just by throwing such light bulb at the crowd.
I loose my motivation to help out more and more each day to drama like this. Which is why I am mostly /meh on this point. I will continue to play as I always have, with the morals I have been rasied with and if this community finds they don't like myself and others like me who just enjoy playing the game with their friends on TS or squadies, then they can ban us and my Warhammer account, Girlfriend, and IRL activities will get a lot more attention and will thank them.

Honestly, remove all the pieces of code involving Training Missions in them, because that's some of the worst training missions ever made. And that's not anything I'm saying out of spite, they're just outdated and plain bad.notjarvis wrote:QUOTE (notjarvis @ May 17 2011, 11:08 AM) It's a fair point, but not quite as simple as some people make out.
Its a small task to do as I've pointed out several times and can be done. Just needs someone to step up and organise the elements.
The Training missions which are many peoples first introduction to the game are hard coded to the current keymap, so changing the default would also involve code edits, and I think voice recording edits. Which are small, but necessary amounts of work for whoever wants to do it.

Also do not forget 3 persons who are actually blind and will never see the light again. They will tell you exactly what it should have, ivory white or bright yellow white or #FFFFFF. Also they will make sure that less than 25% of the whiteness is AoE-White.

That's not realistic! It should be 4000K with a continuous spectrum!lexaal wrote:QUOTE (lexaal @ May 17 2011, 08:50 PM) Also do not forget 3 persons who are actually blind and will never see the light again.
