As for the slow download server - I'll bring it to TE's attention.

As for the installer itself.

It'd make sense if we included the latest cores etc. every so often in the installer. that way there will be a smaller AU on first install. We should try to minimise the load on AU.

And also to use pkk's installer when he feels it is ready.

Regardless - the person to liaise with if you wish to help is pkk, it falls well within his ambit as Dev. ZL and TE should do his bidding as regards the installer.

Yeah pkk was getting a new installer up to snuff. Last I spoke with him about it he said he had just a few more changes to make before it was ready.
When that happens, the current installer will be replaced.
