Was - RT vs XT. Now discussion of streaming Final game

While I fully agree with you Dorjan, in fact my heart is wracked with sorrow at RT's response, we can't blame them because at the end of the day RT must do what is best for RT.

Just know that we in System X will keep doing what we have always done, what is best for Allegiance.

just my 2c of not reading most of what was written and putting my two thoughts and running away:

There is another advantage to not streaming the game live: people stuck in another squadgame (i mean, squadgames are more or less all on the same time no?) can watch the game later if it is not live. As in, when they are not busy being podded.

We're not ever going to stream the game live. That isn't good for games.

Actually streaming a friendly game live could be wicked.

Let's all calm down a bit m'kay. Remember not all of us are familiar with shoutcasts and the like.

Can somebody help us |_| people out? I remember the live streamed PuG suffering from low quality. How good can this look, and what sort of audience can we get?

The delayed stream, yes. Not live. I think the difference in terminology is what is causing the drama.

delaying is cool, delaying an hour is pointless. If you are going to delay it that much, you might aswell just record it for later.

Delay of 30 mins max should be needed, people seem to be forgetting these 2 squads are at the top and wont take half an hour to do anything.

Sorry spidey but its no right of you to accuse RT of being selfish. RT has always been one of the most newbie friendly squad as far as I know and we always tried to contribute/help others in every way we can. And undoubtfully we try to do what is best for Allegiance.

As stated earlier things about streaming were not very clear to us at the start, that was why discussion of live or delayed streaming made. And I believe we all are capable of coming out with the best solution in 3 weeks we have before the game. I really don't understand why you guys (yes Dorjan you too) need to offend RT to prove your point. There is nothing we can't solve with just talking. And of course we are always willing to listen and discuss.

Just try to respect everyones ideas.

No more drama

Honestly, we have 3 weeks to work this out, and I'm sure we'll manage to try it in a friendly before that. The payoff seems to potentially be big afterall.
