the game settings crash is all bard's fault (seriously) if this would have gone down _the right way_ you would have a separate install for your beta and you would not be using ASGS

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

I have installed Alleg Beta with the new installer
I tried ASGS yesterday but I got the invalid signature.
I launched Alleg without ASGS and at the MOTD screen it updated Alleg and some more files so I could play just fine.
I tried ASGS after that but still invalid signature.
I crush to desktop as soon as I click the game settings though.

My solution for the game settings crash for R5 is to re-download the .mdl file and put it into my artwork folder, but for some reason the beta doesn't have it's own artwork folder.
(I installed via build.alleg.net) So for the R6 game settings crash, I just use Esc-I.

The fix for R5 is here:raumvogel wrote:QUOTE (raumvogel @ Aug 25 2010, 09:58 PM) I went to beta just a few min ago. I try to start a single team game, but when I go into settings, I CTD. The beta worked fine last Wednesday.
