Aleph Res
Why would the ALL NEW one-sided res have to behave exactly the same as the old res?Jimen wrote:QUOTE (Jimen @ Aug 5 2010, 05:57 PM) Res delay? 15 seconds. Prox lifetime? Also 15 seconds (plus the 4 second activation time). HMM I WONDER HOW THAT COULD BE APPLIED TO PREVENT SHIPS FROM ESCAPING THROUGH THE ALEPH

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

And thus we can't change it at all. Got it.HSharp wrote:QUOTE (HSharp @ Aug 13 2010, 02:21 AM) Res activation time is core specific
No, wait, that's not how it works! Besides, current cores have no option for one-sided res from what I see, so we're changing the way cores work anyways.

Stop being thickHSharp wrote:QUOTE (HSharp @ Aug 15 2010, 08:00 AM) If your changing the way it should be for all cores then this is the wrong forum.
AFAIK the option for 1 sided res is weapon specific while the res cook time is core specific (which means we can mess with both variables as much as we want without affecting DN or whatever core sharp currently cares about)

Get over yourselves, don't try to win arguments on the internet where the option of a punch in the mouth is unavailable

I'm saying if the problem is if you want different timings for res i.e. 1 sided res takes 10 seconds, normal res takes 15 or w/e then it is a code change, not core change, thus this is not the forum for it, I don't really care (I could care less in American) about what decision you make.
