Tard friendly "tech paths" which are not particularly fun to play, or fun to play against, which often drag games out past their natural death. - Those I have a problem with.
We are no longer going to be offering a full "SY" tech path. From now on it is only HoD after 100k

The only reason games are dragged out longer then they should is because we have games where we got idiots running around not doing what needs to be to help finish the game. I still think more people on mumble would help with this coordination/stupidty. This defintly would help with people htting so they can coordinate faster/better.

Still ready to teach anyone who asks nicely whatever they want to know about playing alleg. Contrary to popular opinion I do not eat newbies. Voobs taste much better.

Except for the "tard friendly" part, you've just described Exp exactly? Heavy ints, pulse probes, and prox3 are the recipe for a game never ever ending no matter how outteched you get afterward.notjarvis wrote:QUOTE (notjarvis @ Jul 28 2010, 02:32 PM) Alternatives to figbees are fine.

From my point of view, when one team is down to their last sector and the other team has much more control of the map, the pilots of the team with the bigger advantage changes their mindset into, "Let me pod as many of them as possible in my Hint/Afig/HvyScout. Forget bombing/HTT, I'm having too much fun with my guns!"
I've seen this too many times.

Those type of the games I wasn't really talking about. It is human nature to back off the pedal when you are almost sure to win. Happens in sports all the time. Also when they the team is put into that situation "Turtle". It is pretty hard to break.
I am talking about the games where it drags on because neither team is working together very well and havine various idiots trying to do something by themself or doing nothing useful at all.
