ah! no? Not working offline.vlad13 wrote:QUOTE (vlad13 @ Nov 14 2006, 11:46 PM) check if internet explorer is in the work offline mode
Tried to log on several times turning things off but I don't think this is external to allegaince. Something crashed and it will not connect to the lobby even to show the title screen to try.
This happened after removing Norton Antivirus
Launching Allegiance
• Active
• Allegiance exited with code: -1
• Creating Crashfile
Help! Please!

Don't have a firwall. Win98 is apparently ancient. The Norton had wormblocking that blocked the ports. I was able to turn it off and play. The crashing started before I removed it to go to an AV that was more allegaince freindly. It just did not work.Grimmwolf_GB wrote:QUOTE (Grimmwolf_GB @ Nov 16 2006, 05:22 AM) Allegiance should not crash just because you uninstalled Norton. Since you are on dial up, ask someone to download you a fresh copy of allegiance and install it after you uninstalled your old version.
Check your firewall, has allegiance been blocked there?
Renistalling last option. Darn!
Thanks anyway
