Calling all modelers
Models can have fly-through holes in them, but then the hitbox has to be assembled from several parts. Ideally this should be taken into account when designing the models. Flying into invisible walls is far from popular.

Terralthra and some others (Baker I think, maybe more folks) fixed the CVHs of the GT bases to make sure that the doors were in the right place.
Hawkwood had to scale the bases up in the EoR core to make them dockable because the doors are relatively small and ships pysically couldn't fit through them.
Noir rejected this policy and replaced everything with the Res Station model.
Apoch reintroduced the original stations and scaled them to EoR proportions.
Even if the doors now match the models, the CVHs have hitbox problems.
This.
Terralthra and Sgt_Baker already fixed the GT bases. They worked perfectly. Noir said he wouldn't use the fix because he'd scaled GT down to a different size than other cores and refused to alter "his creation" (*cough* Orion and others made GT, not Noir *cough*).
I'm checking to see if Terr or Sarge still have the files - If they do, we'll just need to switch them up as long as the current scale is the same as the ones they worked on and the problem is solved with no repeat work.
CVH files within that zip file are the same like within everyones artwork directory...Bard wrote:QUOTE (Bard @ Apr 22 2010, 07:06 PM) Found Them: GT CVH Project -- Terralthra and Sgt_Baker -- 4MB Zip -- contains CVH files and correctly named Base MDL's along with a few screenshots
So these files don't fix anything.
