Hear the smoke police don't let you.

As a matter of fact, I believe the hotel for CalCon can charge you $150 clean up fee for smoking a cigeratte. Yet that does not apply to mary jane, mind you I suppose they could throw you out since it's not decriminalized just not enforced beyond a $75 ticket, and only if the cop is really, really, realy really bored. hehe
Grand Hyatt in Washington D.C charges $500 USD if they catch you smoking in their rooms, IIRC. So at 1am i walked around the hallways smoking! lol!

Interesting enough, I spent the next two days at the Mayflower due to lack of availability of rooms at the Hyatt for the days I needed, and was very pleased to find an ashtray in almost every corner of my room. Matches included. This was a few years ago (three I think), so things may very well have changed since.

I'm going to PAX.
I'll be 20 at that time.
I drink and don't smoke.
I'm bringing my guitar.
Depending on my living situation and love-life at the time, I may or may not be doing the hotel thing.
I may just end up driving down for a day, I dunno.

It's in there with hallucinogens and God, categorized by general loss of reality..
There are two types of Allegiance Players - Those who log in to play with me, and those who log in to complain about me. With me gone, both types lose interest. I am Allegiance.

I guess that's why they call him DaShredda.

On the topic of smoking, it's illegal in most public places in Washington state. Not sure about hotels, though. I don't know anyone IRL who smokes.

Pretty sure there are "smoking" and "non-smoking" rooms.

Our rooms on the weekend were all non-smoking, ah well, like I had time to smoke and organize a convention, I wish.

387 people, a little less than we wanted for 2009 (500), 2010 not far off, March 26-28, 2010. Goal of 600 people, should be good.
n.b. I may not see a forum post replied to me or a pm sent to me for weeks and weeks...

I talked to Mega on the phone and he may make an appearance... being that he lives near there so if he doesn't show up, I'll show up at his work and kick him square in the face.

He's easy to spot: Just look for the guy that looks like he used to have a mullet, when it was fashionable.
