LOL. So it's not about forcing @#(!ty games to completion at all, just the +1 in the comm loss column.
If the opposing comm intentionally bails on his team I have no qualms about refusing draws. Not saying you did this or that it even looked that way, I wasn't there, but I am saying that not all comm drops = #draw.
[edit: perhaps I misread because the post wasn't clear, but your own team refused to draw? That's not honor, that's plain old stupidity.]

Why does the game include a #draw function and a #resign function?
Resign is for games a team can't win because they suck completely on their own. IE, game launches fairly, everyone stays connected, and all the team's opening cons were lost.
Draw is for games that have been compromised due to outside factors, ie a SG that drew most of the players from one team, a commander who drops comm and can't get back in for 10 minutes in the early game as a faction that must expand-or-die, or when a noob accidentally gets comm and boots his whole team trying to pass leader.
For those of you who say its about dodging the comm/game loss, I can turn it around and say the other team as against it because they want that comm/game win. Last time I was in this situation, I was comm vs some ACS guy. I lost 3/4ths of my team to a SG while he only lost a few people. For the longest time he refused to draw, actually saying he needed a comm win since he hasn't had any yet.

Maybe you wouldn't have been in that mess if you hadn't stacked so hard!
1. Sucks for dropping
2. Only Comm if you can take losing (ie go in expecting to lose and you will never be dissappointed)
3. Posting a draw creates blood lust in the opposition :insert ogre "roar" here"
4. Resign to thwart the stomping and start a new game
After all this time you really think a post like this will change people's late night habits?
So your gone 10 minuites and NOTHING gets done? I would think you should have had 50k in the bank if you had 4 miners? You state you had no tech, but you should have had $$$$$$. You also say that John started to bomb? Can your team not camp and prox? You had no patties?
Spidey could have returned and pulled it out im sure
