Connection problem with Vista

Processor Speed:2.00 GHz
RAM:4.00 GB
Video Card (Make and Model#):Don't know but its integrated
Sound Card (Make and Model#): Don't know but its integrated
Connection Type (Dialup, Cable, DSL, other): Infrastructure
Modem (Make and Model#): Conexant HDA D330 MDC V.92 Modem
Router (Make and Model#): Don't know.
Internet Service Provider(company name): eSpeed
Location(State/Province/Locality, and Country): Brunei

Make and Version of firewall: Windows Firewall
Make and version of anti-virus: McAfee

I can log on to Allegiance and I can see the games list. The problem I'm having is that I can't connect to games. I have disabled the McAfee firewall and I am using the windows one, Allegiance is set as trusted.

Please try uninstalling McAfee and trying. Most of these programs do not disable when you ask it to disable.

I recommend NOD32 AV if it works. The built in firewall of Norton and McAfee block Allegiance for an unknown reason even if they are asked to let it through or even disabled. Only uninstall works.

Thanks so much I can finally play again! I installed AVG (free version) for anyone whos interested, I can see that Vista firewalls are a common problem.
