Still a bit of a WIP, but I figured I could show everyone what I've done.

It's not for the regular pilot though. I think it's unlikely that most people will find it useful (It's a lot of information), but you never know.

Screenshots:

Yes, they're low quality. I don't care.

I've changed the lifepod display so that when the player is in a lifepod, the 'self' portion of the display shows 'Time Remaining: XXX Seconds'

I'm in the process of changing the colors for most of the things.
Hull, Target's Hull, Shields, Target's Shields, fuel, Ammo, and Energy show as:
Green (Hex color #00BB00) when at or below 100%
Yellow (Hex Color #FFFF00) when at or below 50%
Orange (Hex Color #FF8800) when at or below 25%
Red (Hex Color #FF0000) when at or below 10%

Thrust shows as Green when at or below 100%
Yellow when at or below 65%
Orange when at or below 35%
Red when at or below 10%

Lifepod duration shows as Green when at 241-300 Seconds
Yellow when at 121-240 Seconds
Orange when at 61-120 Seconds
Red when at 1-60 Seconds
Hull, Target's Hull, Shields, Target's Shields, Fuel, Ammo, and Energy all show decimal percents when at or below 10 percent. At all other times they simply show the whole-number percent

Anyone interested in having this, just send me a PM. I will warn you, though, that it is not complete, and I'm constantly modifying it to do different things, so I may not have a working version at the time that you ask for it.

How long until your HUD is a text-based action-adventure game?

I haven't figured out inputs yet. And besides, that would be something for when you're podded!

EDIT: Screenshots of updated versions:

It has potential. The extra info is nice to have. The problem is I have to look away from what I'm aiming at to check on my ship's conditions.

I use the slipstream gauge because it is thin and doesn't block my view yet is bright enough that I can check it out of the corner of my eye.

Add something slipstream-like to it and you've got a winner.

Is there a way to show something in fraction form, i.e. not in percentages? So a scout's hull could be displayed as 200/200 or something of the sort?
