Alternative ways of perking figs

instead of quicklaunch, you could always just give fighters dual launch missiles while your at it (this is sarcasm). Just remove the QL missiles from the Scouts.

Imho Figs are fine even vs Exp as long as they have the booster advantage/minepacks/missile upgrades and are used proper. Once the Exp team gets a Sup their Ints can mount booster3 and have no trouble to compete with HvyBooster AdvFigs (That's where the Sup team is really screwed).

Maybe a indirect perk would be to limit Ints ability to mount better booster (lets say max booster2) when their team got a Sup. Of course, first we should look how the current fuel perk for Figs is working out before its worth to consider that.

I have a technical Q:

What is the fuel consumption on the Ints vs Figs
Why i ask, the Int should be a bit more hvy then a Fig thus making the Int burn more fuel to gain the same speed as a fig?
Or is it Accel that will use more fuel.
Or do Ints and figs have the same consumption?

Fuel Consumption is a thing that is controlled by the booster, since all the ships in the game use the same boosters (excluding cruise, ion, heavy) the fuel useage remains constant. Of course each ship as a specified amount of fuel they carry. Changing this value is much simpler than adding another set of boosters for ints to use alone. Not that I wouldn't do the work, it would just a bit of time to do it considering I've got a hell of amount of things on my plate at the moment /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
