Its my experience that coaches are harder are their players during practice.
I see your point, though.
No More Heroes.
True. However people who have been around for not even two years come in win some "big games" and think they are now god's gift to commanding with their new and improved "style" and think that they are more knowledgeable than everyone else whose been at it for far longer and have commanded more games than kills they have.guitarism wrote:QUOTE (guitarism @ Feb 27 2008, 01:42 PM) Blasting is very neccesary.
I call it... the Malice Effect
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Practice is a time for learning, where it is safe to explore your weaknesses. Pick-up games are the closest thing we have to 'practice' outside of squad life. Picture it like an out-of-conference college football game. It's off the record. You let some guys get off the bench, try some new plays, and you don't run your players as hard as a real game.
Bob Knight got 902 wins not by patting people on the back and holding hands. Heck he did more yelling in practice then games.

Granted I'm no sports expert. But wouldn't he be the exception?
