That, and many issues only appear when you select CortUI *and* Slipstream GUI. And that with all the possible CortUI extra options. Add some weird uninstallation situations and you got a nice set of cases to test. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />DasSmiter wrote:QUOTE (DasSmiter @ Nov 13 2007, 10:30 PM) just fyi for you guys, slipstream works as of now if you install it, but some of the screens with new options (game settings screen and such) will appear in the old way
this is fine for me because most of the screens i liked are still there (F5, menus in F3, some of the buttons)
Well, no need for extra work for me there I think, you can just use Newtype's original .zip that I'm sure is still around somewhere. It should never crash, worst thing to happen is probably a weird skin.DasSmiter wrote:QUOTE (DasSmiter @ Nov 13 2007, 10:30 PM) so is there some way we can preserve the slipstream install as it is now and just stop supporting it? (leave the latest efforts you've put into it out there, but don't bother with updating it after this point)
I never really modified anything but a handful of images to make CortUI modifications appear in Slipstream GUI skin. I gave up early, and they are probably already outdated.
But yeah, one of the problems is that I long lost track of which image is actually which (having the same names) and what does work and what doesn't.
