Nah, it doesn't. Total money perhaps, but anything from 1.0, 15-20mins.

the other day i went something like gt tacspansion, in 17 mins i had heavy ints. the other team resigned after. notice that i was stacked against, had 4 sectors and all of them on enemy reach. he also went tacspansion i think (was ic. maybe it was shadowfoxx).

some things i´ve noticed are: while you still get decent miners, you have ridiculous tech cost, and in this i´m also including the techbase upgrade. i´ve found that gt pali is THE blessing to gt, since it will give you one sector with a techbase-hull station(which you can mine also) without raising the price of ADV tech to hell. this will 1) make easier to expand ( as expansion specifically it´s very nice) since you can have op and pali con at the same time, and 2) make harder to bombrush/just bomb or such, since a pali is a techbase also.

this might sound stupid, but think it hard before calling me a $#@!ing noob. WHAT ABOUT MAKING GT UNABLE TO BUILD OPS? i really haven't thought about balance on gameplay for this, but it would possitively hinder the expansion possibility they have atm

While your at it, remove GT's miners.... Let's be serious for a second Evincar, while a GT palisade is a blessing for the faction. Not giving them the ability to build outposts would be idiotic at best. It's been discussed to death now, GT needs an ECON nerf not some weird fandangled change.

i was just suggesting. i haven´t really thought how would it influence gameplay. at some times i think it´s an idiotic idea, some other times i think it would resolve problems.

No. GT doesn't need to be radically rebalanced, only slight nerfs across the board. Little bit of econ there, a little extra for pali here, etc.

You could always make GT ops damageable to all weapons Giggly style, or remove teles to limit expansion if you wanted to really go overboard.

Hmm, Hows this

Yeild= .8
Techcost= .8
TechbaseCost.9
TechbaseUpgradeCost.75
MinerSpeed=1.1
MinerLoad=.8

Techbases and Palis cost 9k, Techbase Upgrades cost 15k.

Small changes, people. GT doesn't need drastic nerfs.

Thinking about it, making GT miners cost more a la TF, makes alot of sense actually. Where is the hardest hit you take in the econ? When you loose a miner. Increasing miner cost to 5k would make GT's early game slower, and their middle game a more average pace. Toning down the econ by .05 in conjunction with this minght even make it too slow, but I think something along those lines is probably the best bet. The prices for the tech are right, just not how much money you get from your miners, and how fast you can get them.

Any faction with lower Yield would bite. Hence, no faction actually has lower yield.
