Have tried many times but come up with an "error" of sort, saying the the newer version of dx is already installed.

Avast doesn't have a firewall built, I turned off/ and on windows firewall, set exceptions, uninstalled and reinstalled alleg 3 times. Built the computer from scratch so no mcafee or norton. I am using IE to type (don't lol) this so it isn't offline. I tried atleast 30 times over 3 hours still in ...
