Im using Vista Home Premium. Hey ImmZ, i tried that.. but it didn't work and when i tried to reinstall, just about everything was unable to open for writing.. but the game still runs? Im not sure what to make of this

nah, ATL.dll is not read only.. The exact error message for it is "Error opening file for writing : ATL.dll - abort - retry - ignore etc... so.. i dunno whats going on becuase its still in the folder, and its not read-only

Okay, It's been a while and I've tried a few (ok, a lot) more times and it's definitely not working. Would switching to .net 2.0 help, cause i still have 1.1. also, when i reinstall, i note an error message saying ATL.dll is not available for writing? anyway im assuming that that file is missing ...

Normally I would agree, but this continues to happen all day, and has for the last 2, so I'm assuming something else is the cause here.

Edit: Is the ATL.DLL important?
