Guys I hate to bring this up to front page, but thanks to this thread I was able to fix my alleg.
I was having problems with it taking a long time to show me the different screens as I navigated (like 10s to see the first page, or get into the game after I was accepted). There was alot of lag ...

I have tried Imagos way and also the asgs beta mode way, both times I get the same error about filelist.txt_ not being the expected size.
Anyone got any ideas what may be causing it?

Edit: It keeps making me generate a "pack file" every time I try to launch. How do i make it stop?

I just tried to go into beta and got the same error as southpaw.

After decompression, file V:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\beta\AutoUpdate\FileList.txt_ wasn't the size expected. Perhaps FileList.txt in Lobby server's folder is ...
