try this site for hosting. it's a free host that goves good bandwidth and plenty of storage space with ftp access. it also support php and mysql.

I've been thinking that we could have randon but still pre determined maps. this could be done in 3 stages:

1. A map is picked. the server goes through each sector and picks a random "style". the styles would be pre-made maps with themes like urban, open field, mountains, islands, ect.

I admit that i didn't do a good job with the fighter. the map is rectangular because the software i use doesn't care about the dimensions and i was too lazy to resize. i'll probably redo that one. the "nasty blur" on the ship are neon lights.

sorry for being away so long.
a windows update that i did messed up my internet and i no way to access the site. I had to start fresh on my computer.

just wondering but, what kind of models does the torque engine support by default?
I think one of our best bets for model format, as far as ease of use goes, is .3ds because it supports models as well as animations using bones.

I fixed that problem. I had only set up my static IP with one DNS address but i think my ISP uses 2.
