Helium-3

The sought after helium-3 isotope can be extracted from He-3 asteroids by miners to be used as an energy source. It equals wealth, with which the factions fund their technology projects, ships, and everything else.

Helium Asteroids

An asteroid with almost no He-3 left. The miner to it's right would be responsible for that.

A sector generally has four helium asteroids. They are identified as "He", followed by a number. The bar above it's structure is the remaining helium-3 which can be harvested. It slowly regenerates over time.
