Normally, users are allowed to maintain three separate callsigns to use ingame. This allows players to log in with a new callsign in the event they were kicked off a team and are unable to rejoin. In addition, it allows players to "hide" ingame as an alter-ego. (This is why secondary callsigns are also called "Hiders").
Since only three callsigns are allowed per user, once three have been created and used it is impossible for a user to log in with a new "fourth" callsign.
What is a Callsign Reset?
Every six months this list of three callsigns is erased, allowing users to choose new "hiders."
When are Callsign Resets performed?
Callsign resets are performed twice a year, typically in the middle of the summer and the middle of the winter.
What happens to my hiders after a reset is performed?
Nothing happens to it; it is neither deleted nor is it disabled. When you log into any of the callsigns you have created, it is added to your list of three until that list is filled.
What happens to my primary(main) callsign after a reset is performed?
Nothing happens to it; it is neither deleted nor is it disabled. Your primary callsign is the only callsign that will remain on your list of three.
If my hiders still exist after a reset, can't someone else take them from me?
No. All callsigns are protected with a password. As long as you keep your password safe, nobody else will be able to log into or "steal" your old callsign.
How are callsigns added to my list of three?
By logging into it. When you log in with a callsign, the system will add it to your list of three unless the list is already full.
What happens if I try to log in with a fourth callsign?
The system will allow you to log in, but it will override the callsign you typed with the last-used callsign on your list of three. You will end up ingame with your last-used callsign instead of the one you typed into ASGS.
