Trivia
Name capitalisation
madpeople insists on having his name spelt in lower case for mostly unknown reasons, as he puts it "its just the way you spell it".
Mods
- the number of mods and projects he started outnumber the number of ones he completed by more than 3:1.
- madpeople has been known to do simple mods and customised versions of existing mods on request.
- several pieces of the in-game art for [R4] were modded by madpeople and are going to be used in the general community release, one example is the game settings screen background.
Squads
- madpeople had several offers by multiple squads which he did not accept for over a year, when he finally did decide to join a squad, he simply wrote in the GB shoutbox "madpeople@GB" with no further explanation, madpeople was shortly after made a member of GB.
- madpeople tends to ignore inter-squad politics, which was a factor in his choice of squad, he feels he has better things to do with his time than argue with people about which group of people on the internet is better.
Allegiance administration
- At one point madpeople thought it might be good to become a an @alleg, but mainly for the ability to enter the newbie server to train people, he has since decided that he doesn't want the @alleg tag, partly because he doesn't have the time needed to use it properly.
- madpeople considers him self as the un-official art ZL, mainly because it was him who got the forum in the first place, and because he has been very active in it often with people referring others questions to him.
- madpeople has had a bizzar love/hate relationship with now retired admin pook, while the relationship was seemingly mostly negative, both seemed to accept that the other was useful to the community, one of the results of this included madpeople's post count locked at 0 for over a year.
Donations
madpeople has donated a small ammount of money to help support the community servers which he used so much. His donation was made at a time where all you got for your money was a little tag next to your name saying you gave some money, but this good turn has since come round to reward him with a blog and wiki editing powers.
